New 'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer Features Little Plot, New Footage

Marvel's new trailer starts much like the first, with Stark (portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.) recording his message to Potts with grim finality. Get ready to cry!

We also see Iron Man floating through space in the first part of the trailer BUT he is later seen on Earth with the other Avengers after making it home.

Interesting that they didn't debut this with Captain Marvel, but maybe they didn't want to take any attention away from their new leading lady.

With a little over a month until its premiere, the final trailer for Avengers: Endgame has dropped. In it, there are some big surprises, and some big clues about where the movie is going.

The trailer includes a new look at Ant-Man after escaping the Quantum Realm and discovering the tragedy that's unfolded in his absence.

Here we get our first look at the new Captain America costume and shield.

Has it really been less than a year since "Infinity War?"

That said, this is the bispecial pairing that Twitter most wants to see in Endgame.

Interestingly, we also see Rocket (from Guardians of the Galaxy) atop the shoulder of War Machine, Tony Stark's best friend: we love it when such worlds collide. The predominant idea that the trailer gives off is that the Avengers will do "whatever it takes" to stop Thanos from complete annihilation after what happened in the last movie.

Avengers: Endgame hits Aussie cinemas on April 24. It then jumps forward to a post-Thanos world where the remaining members of the team are doing their best to pick up the pieces.

Three Avengers heavy-hitters are conspicuously absent in this scene - Thor, Hulk and Captain Marvel. The weapon wizzes by Danvers head as they have a staredown. Carol didn't even blink and Thor is already stanning her as expected.
