The Captain Marvel box office numbers continue to come in, with Wednesday's now available, which sees the flick drop 41.4% from Tuesday, and 21.8% from Monday.

Captain Marvel's narrative structure is rather unusual in the context of the MCU, in that it starts after Larson's hero has already acquired her powers-although it is unclear how or why this happened. It's also worth nothing that Wonder Woman is better than Captain Marvel, but still not as good as you remember: Like every superpowered outing-led by man, woman or Groot-it's 20 minutes too long, with one battle too many and a bunch of nonsensical myth-building the actors can barely squeeze out of their spandex.
It's the first time she's publicly spoken out on the film. As of Tuesday, Captain Marvel has hit $524 million.
