Russell Westbrook Heckler Shares His Side Of The Story

Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook got into a heated exchange with a fan Monday night during a game against the Jazz. In fact, Westbrook doubled down and defended his actions, saying he would do it all over again if a fan came at him in that manner in the future. "I promise you. Everything I love, I promise you".

"I think it's fair to say that I've been called a lot worse", Mills said last February. I swear to God, I swear to God, I'll f*** you up.

It's tricky. On one hand, you'd hope your superstar point guard wouldn't threaten to beat up a man and his wife. "You and your wife". "Everything I love, I promise you". According to Westbrook, Keisel apparently told him to, "Get down on your knees like you're used to".

Westbrook expressed concern following the game at the verbal abuse he and teammates have received from fans on the road.

Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 25 for Utah, but shot just 8 for 22 and lamented missing a few opportunities at the rim that could have changed the flow of the game: "I just missed shots, that's all it is. I don't think it's fair to the players-not just to me, but I don't think it's fair to the players". For many years I've done all the right things. I truly will stand up for myself and my family, for my kids, for my wife, for my mom, for my dad. I'm humble, I take all the criticism from everybody.

"He's not coming off and talking to the fans, just saying stuff to them and just blurting out words", Felton said.

During last year's playoff series, Westbrook was involved in a number of heated exchanges with Jazz fans. Westbrook, who has complained about Jazz fans in the past, said that after the game that he was triggered by comments he considered "racial" and "inappropriate" from the fan, now identified as Shane Keisel. On the flip side, the fan in question said that he thought the exchange was all in fun between an opposing player and fan.

The fan said in a TV interview neither he nor his wife cursed at Westbrook.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook rode the emotions in a 98-89 victory at the Utah Jazz. Never been in any domestic violence before.

"He can threaten me all he wants but don't threaten a woman", he said. I know him personally, he's like a brother, and he's not that type of guy. She's five feet tall and 110 pounds.

"Multiple warning cards were issued by arena security", the statement noted. "If it is determined that any fans violated the NBA Code of Conduct, appropriate action will be taken".
