Last month, Hornibrook announced he would transfer from Wisconsin after he graduates from business school in May.

The news comes after starting quarterback Deondre Francois was dismissed from the team in February, which came the same day Francois' girlfriend posted a video to Instagram alleging abuse by the quarterback, ESPN notes.

Wisconsin had College Football Playoff aspirations entering 2018, but fell short. He played in nine games in 2018 and completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 1,532 yards and 13 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. The Badgers finished the season with an 8-5 record.

The left-hander, who has had three wildly inconsistent seasons in Madison, will join Willie Taggart's Seminoles and compete for the QB1 job with James Blackman. In the time since Francois' departure, Blackman has been the only eligible scholarship quarterback on campus. On one hand, he won consistently and dominated in big games, especially in an Orange Bowl win over Miami, where he threw four touchdowns.

Congratulations to our beloved head coach, Mike Martin. Another transfer, Jordan Travis from Louisville, must sit out next season because of NCAA rules but is attempting to get a waiver for immediate eligibility. Rounding out the quarterback depth chart are walk-on Nolan McDonald and Western Michigan transfer Wyatt Rector, who will reportedly enroll in May.
