She thought she told her mom about the Grammys appearance, adding: "And I am a real star.by the way." in regards to her mom's question about the celebrities she met.

Robinson lived at the White House with her daughter during her son-in-law's tenure as president.

'She had a stream of people. Grandma's room was like the confessional, ' Michelle recalled.

To which her mom had a one word response, "Yeah".

'Well, Mom would ride in the auto with her to make it feel like a regular carpool'.
