The game looks much better than before and the experience is much more fluid as well.

Whether or not switching from Kassandra to Alexios when starting a new game, or vice versa, will have any effect on this, we can't say.

Ubisoft have announced that Assassin's Creed III Remastered will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 29.

This being said, Assassin's Creed III Remastered coming to Switch shouldn't be all that surprising in the first place.

It's a pretty good deal, to be fair. It is a remaster that focuses on improved visuals and also has some quality of life gameplay changes that haven't been detailed by Ubisoft. We'll have to wait to see what Odyssey's New Game Plus mode will entail, but traditionally New Game Plus allows players to play through the game again from the beginning with increased difficulty but with all of their existing gear and skills still available. Featuring the series' first dip into American history, Assassin's Creed 3 told the stories of father and son, Haytham and Connor Kenway. Additionally, it is seemingly scheduled to release on the same day as its counterparts on March 29. The tweet also has an announcement trailer which gives you some glimpse of the game.

Assassin's Creed Origins similarly received a New Game Plus mode after its launch, which allowed players to carry over crafting materials, abilities, and even ability points.
