Find out as host Tom Downey takes you through everything you need to know about the AAF football league.

Hackenberg was a second-round pick by the Jets in 2016 but never played a down in an National Football League game. Erickson and Neuheisel bring a ton of coaching experience in both the collegiate and professional levels with them so the head-to-head chess match as they break in their new teams should be entertaining in and of itself. His first head coaching job was a three-year stint in the mid-1980s with the USFL's Tampa Bay Bandits.

It begins with Spurrier, who won the Heisman Trophy as a player at the University of Florida and later put together his best body of work as a coach at his alma mater, a mere 113 miles up the road in Gainesville. Some of those changes are that there are no kickoffs or extra points - teams must always go for two after a touchdown- the play clock is 35 seconds instead of 40 seconds and there are no television timeouts.

The AAF is an eight-team league co-founded by Pro Football Hall of Fame executive Bill Polian and Charlie Ebersol, son of longtime NBC Sports Chairman Dick.

The AAF got off to a successful start in the ratings book as it filled the post-Super Bowl void for football fans.

Michael Waddell, the President of the Orlando Apollos, has big plans for fan engagement.

Hackenberg looked shaky at best in his Alliance of American Football debut. Sports TV Ratings said the first game on CBS ‏averaged 2.913 million viewers between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday was an opportunity for him to do that after a few frustrating years in the NFL.

The team plays their home opener at Rice-Eccles Stadium on February 23, but the Stallions will play their first game ever on February 10 when they travel to play the Arizona Hotshots.

According to TVByTheNumbers, almost 3.2 million people watched the pregame and 2.91 million stuck with the broadcast for the actual action between the Orlando Apollos vs. Atlanta Legends and the San Antonio Commanders vs. San Diego Fleet. The Arizona Hotshots, Atlanta Legends, and Memphis Express will have to share their town with an NFL Franchise.

In the first quarter of Sunday's game between the Birmingham Iron and Memphis Express, Hackenberg threw a pass short in the middle of the field.
