Double XP weekends will run February 15th - 17th and 22nd - 24th so this is a great month to play catch up if you've been falling behind. A million games are coming out next Friday, the day after Season 8 was expected to hit.

Running from today (8 February) until 27 February the #ShareTheLove event, brings special rewards and challenges to players of the massively popular Battle Royale game. Anyone who completes these before the end of the season will receive the Valentine Wrap, Vines Contrail, and three more yet to be announced rewards.

Fortnite developers write, "Love is in the air!" While the Season 7 Battle Pass and Fortnite daily item shop have had plenty of wraps for players to purchase and add to their cosmetic item collections, Epic Games is giving players an opportunity to get the new Cuddle Hearts wrap for absolutely free during the Fortnite Share The Love event.

If you had big plans for this Valentine's day, then it might be time to rethink them, as Fortnite has released more news about it's Share the Love event.

With the sudden explosion of Apex Legends as the newest entrant in the battle royale scene, it seemed like only a matter of time before Epic announced something new to reign players back in. Upgrading the pass will reward the player, as well as existing Battle Pass owners, with new unlockable styles for the Trog, Powder and Onesie outfits.

Finally, the event will also showcase a rotating set of featured islands, celebrating the games community creators. Players who earn a pin during a session in the Champion Division will gain access to the Champion Division Finals, which will take place between February 23rd and February 24th. We will run several placement matches on the weekend of February 9 and 10, placing top performers directly into the higher divisions based on their performance. The blog post says it's "right before the arrival of Season 8" which could mean that Season 7 ends on February 28 when the 8.0 patch drops but that's still unconfirmed.
