Who is Jennifer Lawrence’s fiance Cooke Maroney?

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney have got engaged after dating for over nine months.

Her publicist confirmed Wednesday the 28-year-old Academy Award winner's engagement, but did not provide additional details.

Reports in the USA say the couple were introduced by Lawrence's friend Laura Simpson.

A representative for the actress is said to have confirmed this to People magazine.

According to People, the 33-year-old Maroney is part of New York's art scene and is a director at Gladstone 64, a gallery on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that "things couldn't have worked out any better" between the two, noting, "they have so much in common and truly hit it off". The ring was very noticeable.

Could Jennifer Lawrence be taking the next step in her relationship and heading to the altar?!

We're starting to think we never knew Jen at all after learning that not only has she been going out with someone for a good while but that she's actually getting married. Another source told Harper's Bazaar they'd seen J-Law wearing "a giant rock" on her wedding ring finger. One of the gallery's biggest clients is Lena Dunham's artist father, Carroll Dunham, who has shown his work there.

Jennifer took Cooke to the NY premiere of The Favorite in September, when the new couple rubbed shoulders with her pal Emma Stone and exes Darren Aronofsky and Nicholas Hoult, who appears in the film.

The super secretive pair finally stepped out into the light last June when they were spotted walking arm-in-arm through New York City.

Lawrence and Aronofsky ended their one-year relationship in October 2017.
