Samsung Galaxy J8 Coming Next Month

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has yet to be announced, and experts predict it will launch globally in early August - but additional details were not disclosed in The Bell's report.

According to the source, Samsung has begun working on various aspects of the Galaxy S10 already, a device ambitiously codenamed "Beyond".

All-screen smartphones are expected to become the mainstream of the market as cameras, speakers and fingerprint recognition devices are disappearing from the front surfaces of smartphones.

Other specifications on the Galaxy J8 include 4GB of RAM And 64GB of storage, there is also a microSD card slot for additional storage that supports up to 256GB cards.

Korean publicationThe Bell reports that Samsung has not requested Iris scanners from its usual suppliers.

Samsung is throwing down the gauntlet with its next flagship smartphone. Apart from that, the Galaxy S10 will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner at least it might be possible for the Beyond 2 which is the top specced variant among the trio. But to do so, Samsung might sacrifice a series staple: the iris scanner.

Galaxy S9 sales aren't as good as Samsung had hoped, but a new report says Samsung is preparing a significant update for the Galaxy S10 next year, to celebrate the phone's ten-year anniversary and to restore sales. More so, with a 3D sensor AND an in-display fingerprint scanner, there is practically no need for an Iris Scanner. This is a core component of its "Intelligent Scan" facial unlock. One is 3D face recognition, which is pretty much expected given the popularity of Apple's Face ID and Samsung's own direction in the Galaxy S9.
