Energizer mobiles to feature pop-up cameras, 18,000mAh batteries and foldable displays

According to GSMArena (via 9to5Google), the company will be debuting a new line called Energizer Ultimate that will feature six premium handsets including a foldable model; some of the devices in this range will sport a pop up camera.

Have you heard about a smartphone with 18,000mAh battery? well, if you haven't then you might see a new smartphone coming soon with 18,000mAh battery.

Energizer has announced that flagship features such as larger than imagined batteries, folding displays and popup cameras will be showcased, and these will be part of different series of smartphones.

The Energy and Hardcase ranges are expected to offer budget smartphones, and will form the majority of Energizer's new line-up.

At this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, though, Energizer its taking its smartphone lineup a few steps further.

One feature of note is a dual-lens, pop-up front-facing camera on the U620S Pop and U630S Pop models, which means no need for a notch on the display, and probably some fancy wide-angle trickery for those all important selfie shots.

The largest screened Energizer model that will be displayed at MWC is the Ultimate U650S. It's powered by a Helio P22 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and only has a dual rear camera.

The original announcement from Energizer, who partnered with Avenir to manufacture the phones, didn't have too many details, but on Friday, GSMArena shared a number of details about some of the upcoming devices. The upcoming Energizer Ultimate U620S Pop and U630S Pop are equipped with dual selfie pop-up cameras that will include 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The Energizer Ultimate U620S features triple rear cameras, is powered by the MediaTek MT6765 SoC and will be available in two gradient colour options.

For its upcoming foldable and 18,000mAh Battery Phone, we don't have any other information as yet. There will be a 3,500mAh battery and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Past year at MWC 2018, Avenir Mobiles, which holds the license of Energizer had launched three new smartphones.
