Burger King mocks Trump on Twitter over his misspelling of 'hamburgers'

The South Carolina team, which defeated the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide 44-16 on January 7, was offered a candelabra-lit spread of takeout food from McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King and Domino's.

"We have pizzas, we have 300 hamburgers, many, many french fries, all of our favourite foods", Mr Trump told reporters, as one White House worker still on the job lit tapered candles. It's all American stuff.

At least one Clemson Tiger didn't seem to care for the White House's menu on Monday. And they had a fantastic game against Alabama and they're all here.

"If it's American, I like it".

Burger King, home of the Whopper, has joined a growing list of USA companies that have roasted President Donald Trump via social media.

The comment came just hours after Trump bragged that he personally paid for more than 1,000 fast food burgers due to the shutdown in a tweet where he misspelled the word "hambergers".

I paid for the hamberders.

"I believe-I don't know if the weather changes things-but the Clemson championship team, the national championship team, will be coming tonight", Trump said. It'll be interesting. And I would think that's their favorite food. Another held Domino's and fries, per pool. At what point do we acknowledge the fact that Trump is nearly certainly dyslexic but too insecure to admit it. It's great to see it because we need border security. No doubt about it, should have happened 30 years ago, 20 years ago, 10 years ago.

Noah quipped that if the government shutdown meant that Trump would get to eat fast food every night, it could possibly last a very long time. Democrats have rejected his demand.

The fast-food feast apparently startled some of the players.
