Transfer: Sarri speaks on Chelsea selling Willian

Malcom was not short of admirers in England during his days with Bordeaux and Everton were reportedly in "advanced talks" to sign him for £30m from the Ligue 1 outfit back in July.

The latest rumours suggested Barca tabled an offer for Willian which amounted to €55m, including Malcom, but Sarri says the Chelsea man simply is not leaving.

Various British newspapers are reporting that Barcelona have reignited their interest in Chelsea winger Willian and have proposed a swap deal which would involve Brazilian winger Malcom moving in the other direction.

When a reporter began to mention the possibility of Willian - whose contract expires in 2020 - only receiving a one-year deal, Sarri cut him short. I have no idea.

Sarri added: "You know very well that Willian is a very important player for us, as I said yesterday in the news conference".

Following the win, Willian was asked about the recent speculation but told Sky Sports: "My future is here at Chelsea, I don't know what you are talking about!"

But Sarri, has now said that it is "impossible" for Chelsea to allow the 30-year-old leave the West London club this month.

On his decisive goal and the win over Newcastle, he added: 'I think it's always hard in the Premier League. I found the space and put the ball exactly where I wanted'. "I need a replacement but I don't need a very important player like Cesc unhappy here".
