It has a collection of great Hollywood movies like Run Lola Run, The Illusionist, The Last Samurai, True Romance and more. If you keep scrolling down, you will find an IMDb Freedrive: Popular Movies and TV - Free with Ads section.

The Amazon-owned movie database site has launched IMDb Freedive (imdb.com/freedive), a free streaming video channel available in the U.S. IMDb declined to say how many titles are initially available; the site now lists over 130 movies and 29 TV shows to stream for free. Fringe, Heroes, Without a Trace, and The Bachelor make up some of Freedive's current television offerings.

The latest entrant into the streaming landscape comes from IMDb.

IMDb Freedive also includes a feature X-RAY, powered by IMDb search that brings information about the cast, music, crew, etc.

"With the launch of IMDb Freedive, they can now also watch full-length movies and TV shows on IMDb and all Amazon Fire TV devices for free", IMDb Chief Executive Col Needham said in a statement.

Users will be able to stream the aforementioned content via laptop or computer and on all Amazon TV devices.

To date, IMDb has produced short-form original series, such as "The IMDb Show", "Casting Calls" and "No Small Parts", as well as trailers and celebrity interviews.

The company says it will be added to IMDb's suite of mobile apps in the coming weeks and months. The content is from the worldwide movie database, or IMDb, which Amazon owns. But Freedive is a big clear sign of the two companies' relationship, using the combined power of Amazon's streaming technology and IMDb's audience of enthusiasts to kick-start what could be a very lucrative service.
