Something Fantastic Four Related Is Heading to Spider-Man PS4 'Real Soon'

With the newly added Sam Raimi suit still in our rear-view mirrors, both Marvel Games and developer Insomniac Games are teasing yet more new content for Spider-Man PS4.

This week, Marvel is celebrating the return of their first superhero family, the Fantastic Four, with a week's worth of live streams. It's going to be wonderful and fantastic, ' said Marvel's Ryan Penagos. I can't tell you anything more right now, but you'll want to keep an eye out for this.

And since Spider-Man on PS4 is a Marvel game, the official Twitter account for the division confirmed that the game certainly won't be left behind. This suit sees Spidey donning a spare Fantastic Four outfit and a paper bag over his face and has previously been seen in other Spider-Man games.

The game already features a number of Easter eggs from the rest of the Marvel universe, from the Wakanda embassy to Doctor Strange's house, but no references to the Fantastic Four.

Spider-Man's DLC slate has ended, too, so it's safe to assume we're probably looking at a new suit.

With little to go on, one of our best guesses is that Insomniac will add another suit to Spider-Man. The most obvious thing would be another new costume - Spider-Man briefly joined the "Fantastic Foundation" version of the Fantastic Four, during which he wore a pretty stylish white-and-black costume. Fantastic, Human Torch, The Thing, and the Invisible Woman, in several of Marvel's video games such as Contest of Champions, Puzzle Quest, Strike Force, and Future Fight.

The other costume option could be the Future Foundation outfit.
