Alvaro Morata Edging Closer To LaLiga Return

Morata has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this month, with the likes of Sevilla understood to have identified him as a potential transfer target.

Asked if Wilson is good enough to play for Chelsea, Dublin told BBC Radio 5 live: "Yes, he is".

Atletico Madrid have joined Sevilla in the hunt for Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata.

Morata's agent has travelled to London to discuss the possibility of a loan move to Sevilla, while there is also interest from Atletico Madrid and clubs in Italy.

Spanish football expert Balague said on BBC Radio 5 live: "Morata wants to leave Chelsea, it has not been the right club for him". Nothing has been signed.

Though Sarri has Morata, who joined for £60m from Real Madrid in 2017, and France global striker Olivier Giroud at his disposal, the Italian has often deployed forward Eden Hazard in a more advanced role.

Wolves would hope to win the day by offering a Portuguese contingent to help him settle in England - which can be very tough for mid-season arrivals - and a greater degree of gametime than he might expect in competition with World Cup victor Olivier Giroud at Stamford Bridge.

"We want to continue to take the club forward and the team forward, and to do that, we've got to keep our best player".

Chelsea FC are in fourth place in the Premier League table and three points ahead of Arsenal in the race to secure a Champions League spot.
