‘Simmba’ continues stronghold over box office, is a certified blockbuster


Producer Karan Johar has thrown a party at his home to celebrate Simmba's success and the inside pictures of the party have already started doing the rounds of social media.

With Simmba, Rohit has become the only filmmaker to deliver eight Rs 100-crore hits.

It's been a month since Bollywood's most celebrated couple, insane hero Ranveer Singh and dimpled beauty Deepika Padukone got married, and the couple have managed to hogged limelight till date, with their public appearances or with their respective releases and upcoming film announcements.

Rohit Shetty also shared a picture with Ranveer, Ajay, Akshay and Karan from the success bash and wrote, "Singham Simmba Sooryavanshi.Coming.Should I tell you Something that you don't know???". And on the other hand, Akshay Kumar made a surprising appearance where he played Maharahtra ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) chief Veer Suryawanshi which also made an announcement of collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty.

The movie smoothly sailed through Rs 150 crore and is nearing the mammoth Rs 200 crore mark. has been directed by Rohit Shetty and stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role opposite Ranveer.

Ranveer's Simmba has also broken the record of the first-week collection of Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan and Salmaan Khan's Race 3, which earned over Rs 137 crore and Rs 144.51 crore in their first week, respectively.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will soon start promoting his next film, Gully Boy.
