Game of Thrones teaser shows Sansa handing over Winterfell to Daenerys Targaryen

We also got our very first look at the new series Watchmen, starring Jeremy Irons and Golden Globe victor (tonight!) Regina King, and Euphoria, starring Zendaya and Jacob Elordi.

HBO debuted a new trailer featuring a number of their shows returning in 2019, which included the first look at footage from the final season of Game of Thrones.

"Winterfell is yours, your grace", Sansa tells Daenerys in the video.

As you can see, in addition to a little dragon action, the commercial shows Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) finally arriving to Winterfell together and greeting Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner). It also came as a welcome surprise to the show's loyal viewers, who will recall they had to wait until July previous year when Season 7 premiered. Jon Snow initially refused to fight for Winterfell.

As part of the Golden Globes ceremony tonight, HBO premiered a sizzle reel that shows the briefest of segments from some of its upcoming shows, including Game of Thrones.

In the few seconds that HBO shows the first look from the series' season finale, the audience gets to see Sansa Stark and Daenerys Targaryen share screen space for the first time in the history of GoT.

True Detective returns January 13, Game of Thrones returns in April and Veep will return sometime in this spring.
