Crystal Dynamics are still working on the Avengers Project (which we still know relatively little about), and in the wake of the announcement that Platinum are working on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, Marvel have now also revealed that Second Dinner - a studio comprised of ex-Blizzard developers - are working on a game based on the House of Ideas' characters too.
As revealed via a new video and blog post on Second Dinner's website, Brode and the rest of the team announced that they're now creating a project associated with Marvel.
Second Dinner is working on a new game in the Marvel universe, after raising a $30 million from a minority investment by Chinese mega-company Netease. Currently, a prototype of the game has been put together and it is able to be playtested. AWS hosts many online games, not to mention much of the modern internet, so I'd expect Second Dinner's Marvel project to be a thoroughly online experience. "With the resources and creative freedom they now have, we look forward to what they will come up with next".
"The Second Dinner team has a strong track record of delivering quality games", said NetEase VP Ethan Wang in a statement. "Or Mighty! Or quite possibly all of the above!" Second Dinner is now looking to hire a client engineer and a technical artist, and if you apply and get hired then they'll show you what's going on.More news: Alia Bhatt reveals how she first fell for Ranbir

"In all likelihood, this will be the best game ever made", Second Dinner CEO Hamilton Chu jokingly added. "I made a spreadsheet so I'm pretty sure". Marvel Games Executive Vice President Jay Ong said that Brode and Chu are "exactly who we want making Marvel games".
Crystal Dynamics are also now working on a new Marvel game based on the Avengers, which was announced back in 2017.
The new project is based on Unity, and Second Dinner is now hiring for two key roles.
