It's still unclear whether this will be a spinoff of sorts, a direct sequel to Far Cry 5, or an entirely new entry in the Ubisoft series. New Dawn builds on this; Hope County and the entire world are hit by nuclear bombs. The background looks to be Montana straight from Far Cry 5 after the nuclear blast that was in one of the endings. The game releases in a little over two months, so I'm sure Ubisoft will drop some in-game footage soon enough. Somewhere between the aesthetic stylings of The Last of Us and Rage, Far Cry: New Dawn's world sees a vengeful Mother Nature re-establishing her dominance over the Montanan outback.

Devil May Cry 5 - What is it?

They've definitely carried over a lot of the spirit of Hope County. Like Far Cry Primal was a half-step between Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5, this serves as the next half-step to Far Cry 6. This "quick-elimination mode" will come as a fee update shortly after launch, and has players take on hordes of enemies and bosses until they reach an end goal. As well as having six new guns for hire to recruit while you're battling against the Highwaymen, players will also have the option to recruit two new fangs for hire to their cause - Timber the Shibu, or Horatio the boar. The Homebase, called Prosperity, is the stronghold of the Survivors. Those people that survived have emerged into a new Super Bloom biome; colourful and full of life.
