‘Fortnite’ Season 7 Adds New Areas, Creative Mode

Both of the new ways to travel will be a big twist to Fortnite's usual battle royale gameplay, and I'll be interested to see how they affect the game as the season goes on.

Battle Royale season 7 is finally here and it's a big, map-changing update for the winter holidays.

This includes cosmetic rewards, such as new skins, outfits, gliders and harvesting tools, as well as a number of other items thrown in by Epic Games. The world in Fortnite Season 7 is now covered in snow and there are even planes in the skies. From behind them come the new vehicle of the season, called the "Stormwing", a biplane decked out with reindeer antlers and Christmas lights: "you better watch out". But with Creative Mode, you'll now have unlimited time to play around and you can save your creations for later.

By completing various Battle Pass challenges, you'll be able to earn Sgt.

That means if you buy a Season 7 Battle Pass today, you get the first chance to try out Epic Games' latest creation. But while the all the new cool stuff is exciting, challenge veterans like you will be keen to get started with their Fortnite challenges, so we're here to help you find the Fortnite submarine location to dance on. Well, leaked accidentally earlier this week, and believed by many to have been planned as a reveal at The Game Awards, Creative Mode allows Fortnite players to create private servers, customise an island (up to a set memory limit to avoid crashes), set up game rules, then play custom matches with their friends in those environments. Everyone else will get access to the new feature on December 13.
