In her memory, Wallace paid tribute to the late mother-of-four in an Instagram post, accompanied by a picture of her son with Porter and Diddy.

"I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby", Diddy wrote Sunday. I miss you so much.

He continued: "We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. Stay encouraged. There is nothing I can say to you guys that will heal the void, or fill the void, but I just want to send you my love".

Sean "Diddy" Combs has found the words to publicly grieve Kim Porter three days after her death. Her official cause of death will remain deferred until toxicology tests are finalized. "I ask that you give the families privacy at this time".

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner issued a statement confirming the model and actress's death, stating that she was "discovered unresponsive in her home".

"Diddy and Kim had maintained a great relationship over the years and were great co-parents", a source told E!

'Everywhere I went, people were asking, "Are you okay?"', Porter recalled at the time.

Sources told the publication that she had been "suffering flu-like symptoms, and possibly pneumonia, for several weeks".

Diddy, 49, and Kim dated on and off between the years of 1994 to 2007.

Ms Porter, 47, was Mr Combs' partner for 13 years and the couple had three children together. In the pair's past Essence cover story, Diddy said Porter was unlike any other woman he met. "Kim was a handsome loving soul and we will always be reminded of her grace and legacy in the awesome children she left behind". She was loved and will be missed dearly. The hashtag refers to a hit Jodeci song, "Forever My Lady", which Al B. wrote about her. Chin up puff, Positive vibes only'.
