The Gunners qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League with after a 0-0 draw against their Portuguese rivals, before Emery confirmed the club's worst fears as he revealed Welbeck suffered an injury that will keep him out of action for a lengthy period. You can also stream the match via B/R Live and Univision NOW. "We think [they are] serious injuries".

"He tells you exactly what he wants you to do, but gives you freedom to expose your talent".

"Danny is a very good person, his commitment with us is very big".

But it was Welbeck's injury just before the half hour mark that was the main talking point from a largely forgettable Emirates Stadium encounter. "We are thinking how he can help us in the future".

The game only really opened up in the 88th minute when Jeremy Mathieu was shown a straight red for a foul on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the striker raced through on goal. We wish him all the best in his recovery.

The incident seemed to affect both sets of players for the rest of the game, with little in the way of goalscoring opportunities.

"Then the players concentrated on the match and we forgot".

But Arsenal could not take advantage as Aubameyang blasted the resulting free-kick well over the crossbar.

Numerous fans had differing reactions to how the game went on social media, with some just pleased that they have qualified for the latter stages, whilst others were disappointed with the performances from some of their players.
