Elsewhere, it was a great night for "Never Be The Same" hitmaker Camila Cabello, who won four out of the six awards she was nominated for including the prestigious Best Artist gong.

Cabello's "Havana", Grande's "No tears left to cry", Post Malone's "Rockstar", Drake's "God's Plan" and Bebe Rexha's "Meant to be" are all competing for best song. "Women, our voices will be heard!"

BTS and their fans, K-pop girl group Loona and Malaysia's Joe Flizzow bagged awards at the 2018 MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards) held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain on November 4 (Nov. 5 in Manila).

"I feel like the message for me has always been just like do what makes you happy, even if it's scary, it's worth it to take the risk because your happiness is your responsibility", Cabello said.

Europe Music Awards in the Spanish Bilbao announced the victor in the category Best performer.

In addition, Cabello also received the award for Best song.

The 25th edition of the awards, formerly known as the as the MTV Europe Music Awards, was as usual loaded with eye-catching performances, as well as references to Bilbao's links to the art world, first and foremost thanks to the city's Guggenheim Museum. He also saw pop queen Janet Jackson at a very close distance and not to mention seeing Nicki Minaj and Hailee Steinfeld live on stage.

Dua Lipa won best pop artist, while the USA group Panic! at the Disco won best alternative artist and Marshmello snagged best electro artist.
