How to buy the OnePlus 6T

The back of this smartphone is mostly purple-colored, though not the whole back is, the upper portion of its back is black-colored, like 25-30-percent off it, it's like the purple color is slowly transitioning into the black, at least that's what it looks like in the provided renders. Although OnePlus promises bi-monthly updates for the 6T, the T-Mobile version won't necessarily get them at the same time. That's a new color we haven't seen on any previous OnePlus handsets. Hopefully, the device will appear elsewhere in the world, but if it does, it will likely keep the $579/€579 tag like the Mirror Black and Midnight Black 8/128 GB variants.

OnePlus has always touted its devices as "flagship killers", offering top-tier performance and specs at a much lower price than the competition. You won't get water resistance or wireless charging, nor are the cameras quite up to par with more expensive phones like the Note 9 and Pixel 3.

If you're already rocking a OnePlus 6 or even a 5T, then don't worry.

[Update:] The phone is official, as it's just been launched in China. It remains to be seen if OnePlus plans to introduce a red-colored OnePlus 6T at some point, but at the moment, it seems like the Thunder Purple variant is here instead of the red-colored phone.

The OnePlus 6 and 5T were both made available in different variants of red and white, and so far OnePlus hasn't revealed any information about new colours. Now, new reports are suggest that OnePlus will be releasing the phone in one additional colour: Thunder Purple.
