IPhone XR available for pre-order from Friday

The iPhone XR is now up for pre-orders in India, as announced at its launch event held in Cupertino last month.

The phone will be available in blue, yellow, red, black, white and coral similar to the iPhone 5C in 2013. Now the time has come, and the iPhone XR is finally available for pre-order.

Apart from India, the iPhone XR will go on sale in dozens of countries starting October 26.

Like the iPhone Xs, the iPhone Xr does not have any home button and relies on Face ID for biometric authentication.

Apple iPhone XR will sell better than the iPhone 8 did previous year, claims famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. While the pre-orders for the iPhone XR begins today, the shipping starts from October 26th.

The iPhone XR has the same software and the same powerful chip as the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. The 128GB storage model has been priced at Rs. 81,900, while the top-end 256GB storage variant comes in at Rs. 91,900 in the Indian market. These include US, UK, Canada, China, Australia, and more.

For those who have held out buying the new iPhones because they find it too expensive, the more affordable version is nearly here, and you can be among the first to own it.

A video by Tyler Stalman mentions a couple other strengths of the XR, including that its LCD display looks excellent, and that even though the device is technically heavier than the XS due to being larger, it actually feels lighter in the hand relative to what he expected. The phone is powered by Apple's latest six-core A12 Bionic SoC, coupled with a quad-core GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB of inbuilt storage. However, the iPhone XR is equipped with a single 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture wide-angle lens rear-facing camera.
