Ariana Grande Posts Heartbreaking Statement About Mac Miller

Grande disabled her Instagram comments last week after internet trolls spammed her social media, cruelly accusing her of causing Miller's death.

Ariana Grande has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.

Hinting she was aware of his inner demons, the superstar continued: "We talked about many times".

The superstar went on to say that 'You were my dearest friend for so long above anything else. i am so sorry i could not fix or take your pain away. i truly wanted to.

Paramedics found Miller, a 26-year-old platinum hip-hop star whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, unresponsive in his Los Angeles home on September 7 and declared him dead soon after.

"They were very much in love, and I have to say she was incredible when he was first sobering up", Miller's friend Shane Powers said on his podcast.

Thanks so much for watching, I'm your host Emile Ennis Jr. and I'll see you next time. Many fans carelessly blamed Grande for the incident, insisting the crash would've never happened if she would've stayed in the relationship. The former couple, who collaborated on the 2013 hit "The Way", dated for at least a year-and-a-half before breaking up earlier this year.

On Swimming, his final album, Mac had rapped fondly about Grande, talking about how she'd helped him even after his breakup. He starts saying, "If we walk", but stops when he notices Ariana is recording him.

Grande is now engaged to "Saturday Night Live" comedian Pete Davidson.
