This year, the iPhone event takes place at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM ET on September 12.

Last year's iPhone launch also promised a new piece of technology in the form of wireless charging in iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

Still, Apple has faced tight supply of the new low-priced model due to minor complications fitting backlights for the LCD screen, according to people familiar with the matter. With various other product launches rumoured besides the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XC, it should be a show worth waiting for.

While most people expect the largest 6.5-inch "iPhone XS Max/Plus" to face supply shortages, Bloomberg says the new 6.1-inch iPhone - tentatively dubbed "iPhone 9", "iPhone XC" or "XR" - might also ship in "limited quantities, initially".

The 5.8-inch phone leaked will be called iPhone XS, the 6.5-inch version will be called iPhone XS Max and the 6.1-inch LCD will be called iPhone XR iPhone XC (not sure).

China Telecom has shared an image (pictured above) which teases dual-SIM capabilities on the upcoming iPhone.

In addition to the abundance of colour options, the iPhone Xc will also bring dual-SIM functionality to its users which is yet to be a "first" in the company's history. The leaks are based on images from Weibo and give us some interesting insights. It has more similarity comparing to iPhone X. It would be available in 5.8 and a 6.5-inch display with a dual rear camera at back.

Apple will be launching the new 2018 iPhone tomorrow, yes, we are only a day from the biggest Apple event of this year. The dual-SIM iPhones might also see some delays. This would be the successor the iPhone X from previous year.

Leaked alongside the new iPhones this image of the new Apple Watch shows a device that has the same width but will come with a much larger edge-to-edge display.

Like last year, Apple is going to unveil three iPhones this year as well - two of which will come with OLED panel whereas the third one will come with an LCD panel. The LCD iPhone could be equipped with a single-lens camera, compared with the double-lens cameras on the higher-end iPhones.
