The Rush: Free Bud Light for Fans on One Condition

U.S. beer brand Bud Light has become an official beer partner of England's men's national football team, building on an existing agreement between the English Football Association and Bud Light's parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev. We're putting victory fridges out there in the marketplace.

That's because the company announced a series of refrigerators placed in the Cleveland area that will be stocked with beer and locked up until the Browns win their first regular season game. These fridges will all simultaneously unlock whenever the Browns record their first win. The fridges, which are 8 feet tall, will be opened automatically whether the Browns win at home or on the road.

"It got more interesting as we started to talk about the smart technology", Goeler said.

The bester-case scenario is Cleveland loses a lot, fans play off the marketing campaign to create free advertising for Bud Light and the fridges sit in local bars chained up. The NFL team hasn't won a regular-season game since December 24, 2016, went winless at 0-16 last season and had a record of 1-15 the previous year.

According to WKYC, each fridge holds 200 bottles of the somewhat drinkable beer, and the locks are controlled by WiFi.
