Epic Games launch new PS4 and Android patch today for 5.21 release

President of Epic Games, Tim Sweeney, recently stated in an interview with Variety that Fortnite could reach 250 million players on the Android platform. Sniper Shootout has been in Fortnite in the past, but this new version will be making a change by removing scoped assault rifles from weapon drops and swapping them for the brand new heavy sniper rifle. It sounds like a beast of a weapon, though one that probably won't be appropriate for all situations. This weapon allows you to deliver devastating damage to enemies but, perhaps more interestingly, it can do even more damage to structures. They'll do a lot of damage to buildings as well (1050/1100), so if someone has height advantage over you, a well-placed Heavy Sniper shot might be all you need to send them tumbling to the ground.

The update also brings two fresh Limited Time Modes with Soaring 50's and Sniper Shootout. The first is called Soaring 50's, and it's just like a typical 50v50 match, only you'll be able to deploy your glider anytime you're in the air and more than 10m above ground.

The second LTM added in this update is - what else?

In terms of Battle Royale Mode, V5.21 adds one new weapon, as well as one new limited-time game mode. This should be where you find the hidden star this week. This mode is a twist on the traditional 50 vs 50 mode, featuring an extra emphasis on mobility.
