She claims to have heard from someone who heard from me that I heard Trump use the N-word. White House financial disclosures revealed that she "received a wedding package which included a wedding dress, custom veil, and accessories with an estimated value of $25,000 in exchange for appearance on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress". During the 2016 presidential campaign, Burnett faced pressure to release tapes from the set of "The Apprentice" after former contestants on the show alleged the footage would show Trump making vulgar comments.

The former White House staff member went on to say: "As a student of fashion and keenly image-conscious woman, she knows that every one of her style choices will be scrutinized and debated".

The former White House aide, who had previously been a contestant on Trump's reality television show The Apprentice, shared the recording as part of her promotional tour for her new book about her stint in the White House, Unhinged.

"Yes! Finally, we have proof that the guy who refused to rent to black tenants, said that a Nazi-Klan rally had some fine people, and called Africa a sh*thole is a racist", Colbert said. She played portions of the recordings on "Meet the Press" on Sunday and Monday on "Today".

"While I know it's "not presidential" to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible".

The dispute has been building for days as Manigault Newman promotes her memoir "Unhinged", which comes out officially Tuesday.

In the recording with Kelly, which Manigault Newman quotes extensively in her new book, Kelly can be heard saying that he wants to talk with her about leaving the White House.
