Abby would be replacing Sara Haines, who is departing to join ABC's "Good Morning America."

Before the Huntsman announcement, former "View" cohost and "Fuller House" star Candace Cameron Bure told Fox News that she hoped the series would add another conservative voice to join McCain at the table.

A Fox News Channel spokesperson confirmed this will be Huntsman's final weekend co-hosting Fox & Friends Weekend, the Saturday and Sunday editions of President Donald Trump's fave morning show.

Huntsman's father, Jon Huntsman Jr., serves as U.S. ambassador to Russian Federation under President Donald Trump.

Haines announced the bittersweet news of her departure at the end of July, thanking her View co-hosts and co-workers for her time on the show. She recently slammed the president after his meeting with Putin last month, in which Trump seemed to side with Russian Federation on US election interference. One thing that she will lose is her unofficial title of the "hottest reporter on Fox", as bestowed upon her by her fans and Instagram followers.

"This has been a dream I've always had to be on this show", she said of The View. She will be joining Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Meghan McCain who will all remain on the show in their current capacities. I'm not going to sit in a makeup chair for an hour and be like, "Then I'll go get the story".
