Google's Pixel 3 XL Leaks in All Its Glory

According to the leak, the device will run Android 9, it will have an oversized notch, and, oddly, it will come bundled with a pair of wired USB-C earbuds.

Why would you include this much personally identifiable information in a leak?

Google's upcoming models for its Pixel series have been leaked extensively and now fresh images show the Pixel 3 XL in a working condition, its retail box, and its internal components as well.

Does speedy software updates make up for Google's unusual design choices?

Google is expected to announce the Pixel 3 this fall. First, the notch design of the Pixel 3 XL looks like a mess. On the front, it still looks like there are two front-facing cameras; on the back, there seems to be a two-tone all-glass design, a fingerprint reader, and a single camera. But does the notch feel a bit tall to anyone else?

Talking about the other major specs, Pixel 3 will feature a 2960×1440 display with a pixel density of 494-let's hope that it turns out to be a lot better than Pixel 2's display, which was the phone's weakest point. Coincidentally or not, Google released Android 9 Pie just a few days ago and managed to made headlines at a time when everyone was talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 9. Also included is the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, USB-C to USB-A connector for transferring files and of course a USB cable and presumably a power brick.

If you're anxious that Google might change its mind about including the hated notch on its rumoured Pixel 3 smartphone, don't be: You're still getting that bad notch, if this alleged unboxing of a Pixel 3 XL is the real deal.
