Things have not come easy for Paul Pogba at Manchester United, and it appears to be taking its toll.

The 25-year-old, who lit up the World Cup finals in Russian Federation, has often flattered to deceive since returning to United from Juventus two years ago.

Manchester United have confirmed that Marcus Rashford will wear the club's iconic number 10 jersey when the new season begins.

The likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld and Jerome Boateng have all been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent days but there's no guarantee United will sign any of them before the window closes on Thursday night. However, there have been constant rumors of the 25-year-old Pogba having bust-ups with manager Mourinho as the two clashed with their particular ego's.

Real Madrid and Barcelona were seemingly at the front of the queue to sign Willian, but the 29-year-old's latest comments will only intensify rumours that a move to United is a strong possibility, with the player admitting that he is regularly in contact with Mourinho.

Mourinho told MUTV he expected Rashford to get better as the week progressed.

Pogba shone for France at the World Cup away from Mourinho's influence, but was then angered to hear his manager criticising him from afar.

The World Cup victor does already have Premier League experience with near rivals Manchester City and it does appear as if his time at Bayern Munich is about to come to an end.

Chelsea winger Willian, though supposedly happy at Chelsea, has revealed that he's targeting a reunion with former manager Jose Mourinho.

Reports on Monday from Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio claimed that Barcelona made an official offer for Pogba that consisted of $58 million plus defender Yerry Mina and midfielder Andre Gomes, an offer which Manchester United scoffed at as paltry compared to their valuation of the Frenchman.

Paul Pogba's relationship with José Mourinho is under strain again.
