Patriot Destroys Donald Trump's Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Cape Town - Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has reportedly been obliterated by a vandal using a pick axe.

According to NBC Los Angeles, witnesses said the suspect used a guitar case to hide the pickaxe. The star, which Trump received in 2007 for his role on NBC's "The Apprentice", was defaced with spray paint in 2016.

This is the second time in as many years that Trump's star has been destroyed in a similar fashion. The pickaxe was left on the scene.

LAPD said the suspect is now waiting to be processed by officials. The newspaper said Clay was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism and is being held on $20,000 bail. "The last time, someone put a sticker over the star", Francisco Javier, another street performer who was dressed like Superman, said at the time.

The star will be replaced immediately, according to WAFB.

Also in 2016, a person apparently protesting Trump's border proposals constructed a tiny wall around the star, complete with "barbed wire". That man, identified as James Otis, was arrested and charged in connection to the vandalism. Check back for updates.
