Amazon announces Prime Day 2018: Brace yourselves for millions of deals!

What's more, Amazon will also kick off twice as many deals on its own hardware products as it did a year ago -just the ideal time to get that Amazon Echo, a Fire TV, a Fire tablet, or that Kindle you've been lusting after.

You'll also want to make sure you're signed up for our Prime Day newsletter to have all the latest news, leaked deals, and more delivered right to your inbox. Prime members will enjoy the biggest deals yet on Alexa-enabled products, including Echo, Fire TV, and Fire tablets this Prime Day - and starting today, members can save $100 on the Echo Show. Leaks claimed Prime Day was arriving on 16th July, and that's just been confirmed by Amazon. Even without this incentive the Prime subscription service offers pretty good value with the benefits of membership constantly being expanded by Amazon.

If this year's event is similar to previous Prime Days, you can expect to see deals going live throughout the day with some only available for a limited time.

"New for this year, members can shop exclusive Prime Day Launches and enjoy surprise entertainment events unboxed from giant Smile boxes in major cities". This will give Prime members in India access to hundreds of top worldwide Prime Day deals for the first time.

Amazon India saw over a million products being sold during the Prime Day past year, which was the first such event the global company had held in the country after launching Prime in 2016. This Spotify rival boasts 40 million songs to listen to anywhere and anytime via the app.

They include three months free trial for Discovery, Shudder, BFI and MGM video channels, four months AMU (Amazon Music Unlimited) individual plan for 99p and a bounty for every qualifying Prime free trial sign-up.
