‘I really don’t care’: Melania Trump jackets stuns on migrant visit

The controversy comes after her husband Donald performed a U-turn on Wednesday, signing an executive order to reunite the families.

The first lady visited with dozens of the kids, touring three classrooms.

'There was no hidden message.

The White House responded to the fashion choice, stating, "I'd hope you guys would want to cover her visit with children today".

"He tweeted, "'I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?' written on the back of Melania's jacket, refers to the Fake News Media.

While it's true that we should absolutely focus more on what politicians and people of influence (especially women) do than what they wear, when their clothing choices so blatantly fly in the face of what's appropriate/considerate/common sense, it's absolutely part of the story.

President Trump said the first lady and daughter Ivanka played a big role in his decision to end the practice of separating migrant children from their parents.

Unlike many of us, the first lady doesn't just grab whatever's closest to the bed off the floor each morning.

Mr Trump said yesterday as he signed an order to scrap the policy: "It's about keeping families together while at the same time making sure that we have a very powerful, very strong border".

"En route to visit #TrumpCamps, @FLOTUS wears 'I don't really care do u?' jacket". Or perhaps the jacket was a larger statement about their marriage.

To who? Her husband? In fact, when she was boarding the plane in Maryland to head to Texas, she stepped out in an olive green military-style trench. Those may have been subtle jabs at her spouse. And it's one that many won't soon forget. Surprisingly, it featured the following text on the back: "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" She had been expected to travel to promote the campaign but was sidelined a week after the announcement following surgery to treat a benign kidney condition.

Others thought it might be a message for the president himself: a dig at his immigration policy, which according to reports, Melania Trump had been pushing against. LOTS. She picked this one for a reason.

Earlier in the day, though, the first lady's attire sent a different message.
