Millie Bobby Brown to skip MTV Movie & TV Awards after splitting kneecap


Kim Kardashian hits the red carpet alongside mom Kris Jenner at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Referring to the injury as "a milestone" in her life, Brown showed her knee brace in the post, but didn't disclose how it happened. And that means I won't be attending the MTV Awards this weekend.

Millie, 14, added: 'I hope that Finn, Gaten, Caleb, Sadie and Noah have the best time.

"The 14-year-old star deleted her account after the hashtag "#TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown" gained momentum. I love them so dearly and I wish them the best, and I'm sending my luck with you. "I'll be there in spirit!" She hasn't tweeted from the account since December 2017.

As Vanity Fair notes, the star wore a pin to the MTV Movie and TV Awards a year ago to support the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's "Together" movement.
