Super Eagles' captain, Mikel John Obi has declared he is ready to lead the charge and take three-time African champions Nigeria to an enviable height when proceedings kickoff in Russian Federation in a few day's time, AOIFootball.com can report.

Arguably the most stylish team in the World Cup based on their playing strip, Nigeria has upped the ante ahead of the tournament kick-off with some visually stunning additions to their wardrobes.

The Super Eagles even rock a floral motif on the team's travel tracksuit, something that has caught the eye of opposition players.

The outfits have been a hit on social media and follows on the heels of a globally popular World Cup kit designed by Nike, which sold out within minutes.

Rohr is however optimistic that his team can upset the Croatians in the opening game despite their star studded line up.

"However at the same time we're still very focused and working extremely hard to make sure we're well prepared and stand a strong chance of progressing well through the tournament".

The squad were treated to a brief welcome reception by hotel staff and a handful of Nigerians in Essentuki, many of whom are students at the Essentuki Institiute of Management, Business and Law.

They will play their first game against Croatia on Saturday, June 16 at the Kaliningrad Stadium (8.00pm in Nigeria).
