Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge attend the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at Beaufort Park on June 10, 2018 in Gloucester, England.

However, images of young George wielding a toy gun (and a toy knife) spoiled the mood online. Little George couldn't help but be shocked when seven-year-old Savannah got exhausted of the royal trying to sit with her and gave him a little push which sent him tumbling down the grassy hill, dropping his drawing.

George, dressed in beige shorts and a navy t-shirt, was pictured playing with a toy gun, toy knife and handcuffs.

One person wrote: 'This was the only disappointing thing about today's polo match photos.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, rarely makes waves, but photos of her son Prince George firing a toy gun have caused outrage on social media.

Another said: 'This isn't okay anymore... My American side here, biased maybe b/c of everyday #gunviolence in United States of America, but my British side agrees.

But pictures from the day depicting George brandishing a toy gun cast a shadow on an otherwise happy day.

Part of the event was an open house for the emergency services that included an air ambulance vehicle that interested Prince George.

Other people called for the critics to understand that there is a big jump between playing with a toy gun and growing up to use a real gun.

According to 9Honey's royal commentator Victoria Arbiter, we're most likely to see Louis again at his christening, which could actually be sooner than you think.

Her next public appearance was her outing at Trooping The Colour on Saturday, where she joined the royal family on the balcony for the flypast.
