First Look at Wonder Woman 1984 Released, Chris Pine to Return!

Director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter to officially announce that the Wonder Woman sequel has kicked off production by revealing that Chris Pine is back as Steve Trevor. Chris Pine also returns as Steve Trevor. Gal Gadot obviously reprises her titular role, and Pedro Pascal also co-stars in the film. An image released by Warner Bros. with Pine as Trevor is above. Check out the two first look photos from the sequel below!

Additionally, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are still involved as producers on the film alongside Jenkins, Gadot, Charles Roven, and Stephen Jones. Filming is taking place in Washington, D.C., Alexandria, Virginia, and in the UK, Spain, and the Canary Islands. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

And yet, thanks to a teaser image tweeted out by Patty Jenkins herself, here's Trevor, looking not a day older than he did back in the first film. We'd like to think the second image in the first row depicts the invisible plane, but then it wouldn't be visible on the monitor, would it?

Set to open in theaters November 1, 2019, Wonder Woman 1984 is based on the character created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
