Star Wars Celebration Heads to Chicago in April 2019!

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25 and after Kaila's review, I'm looking forward to seeing Newton's character on screen.

The new film is filled with adventure and both Ehrenreich and Glover live up to their predecessors Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams.

A couple of things are well known about the troubled production of Solo: A Star Wars Story, the latest "standalone" film in the Star Wars saga that shows us the early years of Han Solo.

Additionally, io9 heard from Lucasfilm as well, and the company's rep told them that Kennedy said it's something she'd like to do in the future.

"We think that the next spin-off will be dedicated to Lando Calrissian", Premiere quoted Kennedy as saying.

She added: 'Of course, there are still so many stories to tell about Han and Chewbacca but Lando will be next'. A strong cast and the beginnings of a compelling story are wasted by what is, whichever director or directors is responsible, some of the worst filmmaking in Star Wars history. But we hope that decision ends up being the one Lucasfilm makes.

Solo is the first in a potential series of films, with Ehrenreich signing on for three instalments, although it's unclear whether that might include an appearance in a Lando movie. Let us know in the comments down below!

My bet is that Solo: A Star Wars Story is a little bit better than what the critics are saying.

Beyond that, in case you haven't noticed, movies with black actors and actresses in the lead have been doing phenomenally well at the box office.

"Checking expectations" seems to be a common theme in the newest era of Star Wars films.

Rebels, Stormtroopers, Wookiees, Jedi, and Mandalorians of all shapes and sizes: get ready to celebrate the "Star Wars" universe once again, as the official fan gathering Star Wars Celebration has been announced to return less than one year from now!
