Ranveer Singh lends voice for Hindi version of 'Deadpool 2'

Rumours suggest Singh has dubbed for the Hindi version of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 2.

The film and the Hindi Trailer will be A-rated as they will stick to the tone and irreverence of the English film which has Ryan mouthing cuss-words, to heighten the impact of humour and the style of story-telling that Deadpool is known for. He just confirmed that he has done the voice-over for the forthcoming mega movie Deadpool 2 and unveils the Hindi Trailer of the film.

Varun Dhawan had given Hindi voiceover for "Captain America: Civil War", Priyanka Chopra replaced Scarlett Johansson's voice in "The Jungle Book" for desi audience and Tiger Shroff was the voice for Hindi version of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" a year ago and Rana Dagubatti dubbed for Thanos' character in Avenger Infinity War's Telugu version.

After mesmerising the viewers with his performance as Allauddin Khilji in Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh is all set to stun the audience as superhero Deadpool.

Sharing a link to the trailer, Ranveer wrote, "Astonishing how effectively I've managed to out-crass my Canadian counterpart @VancityReynolds".

The studio wanted a star who would resonate with Deadpool's personality and Ranveer's wit and edgy personality was a flawless match, read a statement to IANS. Never realised how fulfilling & rewarding foul Hindi language can be!

Meantime, Ranveer was lately rumoured to have turned down the role in the upcoming of Zoya Akhtar. His "Deadpool 2" co-star Josh Brolin, who also danced on the show, admits the TV appearance was a career highlight for him.

Other stars returning from the first Deadpool include Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Stefan Kapicic as the voice of Colossus. It is set for release on May 15th 2018 in the United Kingdom and May 18th in North America.
